I am interested in how we understand, decide, adapt and create, whether the medium is a book, an intelligent system, a garden or a room.
My writing explores possibility, effort, receiving, uncertainty and conscious living. My research explores reasoning, decision-making, explanation and intelligent systems. My creative projects are more physical: changing a garden, shaping a room, learning through the result.
They are different forms of work, but they share a question: what can we create when we pay closer attention to what is actually here?
Research is my professional academic work. Writing is my author practice. Garden and interior projects are personal creative work, shared as learning rather than presented as professional landscaping or interior-design services.
